DAMP Training is mandatory for all staff and contractors working at the Airport who hold an ASIC or are working airside
Launceston Airport has adopted the myCASA AviationWorx training module for DAMP training.
To commence the DAMP Training, you will first need to sign up for a myCASA account in STEP 1.
STEP 1
If you already have a myCASA account, skip STEP 1 and start at STEP 2.
Set up an account in myCASA
You can create an account using your Digital Identity through the MyGov link on the myCASA page or using the link ‘Create your myCASA account’.
Once your account has been created you will need to apply for an ARN using the link provided on the page, this will require one of the following forms of identification
- Australian passport
- Australian birth certificate
- Australian citizenship certificate
- Foreign passport
- ImmiCard
If you already have an ARN you can skip this STEP.
STEP 2
Login to your myCASA account
On the Welcome page, scroll to Training and learning and click on the AviationWorx link
In the search bar at the top of the next screen type in DAMP and two training modules should appear. Select DAMP awareness for SSAA employees.
Once you have completed the training you will be issued a certificate. Please save this Certificate as a PDF.
STEP 3
To complete the required DAMP training please log in to your induction account and complete the DAMP induction which can be accessed via the ‘Do you need a different induction or upload DAMP documents’ tab at the bottom of your home screen and follow the steps below.
- Upload your DAMP Certificate by selecting your saved Certificate and hit the upload button
- Read the Launceston Airport Drug and Alcohol Management Plan, sign that you have read and understood the Plan. Once signed click the green Continue Tab
- Complete the DAMP Checklist and sign the final acknowledgement. By signing this page you agree to follow APAL's DAMP requirements when working on the Airport.
