Car Park Technology Upgrade
In December 2025 we introduced number plate recognition throughout the car parks at Launceston Airport.
This enables ticketless entry and flexible payment options on exit including QR code, debit or credit card, apple pay and google pay at the exit boom gate as well as at traditional pay stations.
Parking is now more convenient and more sustainable.
Car Park Expansion
An additional 315 car park spaces are being developed to the right of the entry to Launceston Airport and adjacent to the P5 Long Stay car park, along with some additional seating and amenities.
As passenger numbers continue to grow, these additional spaces will alleviate stress at peak times such as Easter and Christmas.
