There are NO flooding issues at the airport

UPDATE 1700hrs 7/6/16 – The airport has just gone into Low Visibility conditions at 1600 (200 metres in fog) and VA1154 inbound from SYD has diverted. Sharp Airlines 807 to Flinders Island not yet departed. QF2285 from MEL also unlikely to get in.

EARLIER

There are NO flooding issues at the airport, nor have there been.

The airport is operating as normal although there were some early holding this morning as a result of low visibility conditions, with the first aircraft arrival of the day landing about 30 mins late (JQ731 from MEL).

Passengers should as usual monitor road conditions for their journey to/from the airport on the Tas Alerts webpage.
